Kick off the 2013 Chicago Bears season September 2nd – 6th with the Chicago Bears Back to Football Week brought to you by Chicago Tribune, Dr Pepper and University of Phoenix. Back to Football Week features events the entire week leading up to the 2013 regular season home opener vs. the Cincinnati Bengals at Soldier Field on Sunday, September 8th.

  • Bears Scavenger Hunt

    Bears fans are invited to participate in a Social Media Scavenger Hunt for the chance to win a pair of tickets to the Bears Home Opener on Sunday, September 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Scavenger Hunt will take place during "Back to Football Week," over a period of three (3) days. Find the Bears "Back to Football Week" logo each day, take a picture with it, and present all three (3) pictures on Friday, September 6 at Pioneer Court Plaza between 11:00 am and 1:30 pm for your chance to win. Tweets will be sent by @ChiBearsPromos each morning on Wednesday, September 4, Thursday, September 5 and Friday, September 6.

    Each qualified participant must present a picture of themselves with all 3 Bears “Back to Football Week" logos. Qualified participants will be entered into a random drawing for the chance to win two (2) tickets to the Bears vs. Bengals game on Sunday, September 8.   • Bears Coaches Show – Live From Halas Hall

    The Bears Coaches Show brought to you by McDonald's will broadcast live from the Walter Payton Center at Halas Hall on Monday, September 2. This rare live broadcast is an exclusive event for Bears Season Ticket Holders. Head Coach Marc Trestman will join host Jeff Joniak to entertain listeners for a full hour of Bears inside info. Other elements special to this live broadcast will include an address from Bears Chairman George McCaskey, and equipment demonstration from Head Equipment Manager Tony Medlin, a look at Bears memorabilia throughout the years, and much more!

  • Back to Football – Back to School

    The Chicago Bears and Bears Care are supporting Chicago Public School students and teachers impacted by recent school closings. Bears Care, in partnership with, is raising funds for classroom enrichment projects at select Chicago elementary schools that are welcoming new students. In addition, a Bears player and Staley will be visiting schools during Back to Football Week to deliver school supplies and new books, provided by Encompass Championship Charities.

On Wednesday, September 4, General Manager Phil Emery will host a live chat with fans from noon to 1pm (CT) at The Q&A offers a rare opportunity for fans to ask questions and interact directly with the man in charge.

  • Bears Kickoff Concert

    The Chicago Bears and CBS Radio will be hosting the Miller Lite Bears Kickoff Concert on Thursday, September 5 at The Aragon Ballroom. Headliners Lupe Fiasco and Michael Franti & Spearhead will put on a special concert for Bears fans. This incredible concert event is a new and exciting addition to our Back to Football Week and a great way to get fired up before the Bears open the regular season at Soldier Field on September 8.

  • Wear your navy and orange on Friday!

    The 2013 season is about to kickoff and to help celebrate the return of Bears football, fans are encouraged to don their navy and orange at the office, in the classroom and wherever else they are headed that day.

    Back to Football Celebration
    When: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
    Where: Pioneer Court Plaza (downtown Chicago)(Map)
    Parking: Parking is available for purchase in the lots surrounding Pioneer Court Plaza. Use of public transportation is strongly encouraged.
    Tickets: No tickets will be distributed; event is free and open to the public.
    Event Features: Bears Drumline, alumni autographs, interactive games, giveaways and a great event to kickoff the 2013 season!
