• Kick off the 2011 Chicago Bears season September 5th – 9th with the Chicago Bears Back to Football Week brought to you by Chicago Tribune, Toyota and University of Phoenix. Back to Football Week will feature events the entire week leading up to the 2011 regular season home opener vs. the Atlanta Falcons at Soldier Field on Sunday, September 11th.

  Passion for the Bears will be on full display in schools, offices, stores and other parts of the community. The week will be filled with player appearances, giveaways, chances to win tickets to the season opener against Atlanta and insider access to Halas Hall and team personnel.

  The great part about Back to Football Week is that its free! Tuesday, Chicago Bears players will visit several Chicago Public Schools to welcome students back on their first day of school. Thursday night will deliver a special Meet the New Bears event, live from Cubby Bear North in Lincolnshire, featuring players new to the Bears roster in 2011. Friday's Back to Football rally at Daley Plaza will feature giveaways, interactive games, alumni autographs, a chance to win tickets to the home opener, a live 670 the Score broadcast and more.

  Fans are encouraged to wear their blue and orange on Friday and show their support at the rally at Noon.

• Celebrate the start of the Bears season!

  On Friday, September 9, passion for the Bears will be on full display as schools and offices throughout Illinois show their Bears pride. Bears fans of all ages are encouraged to proudly wear their Bears blue and orange on September 9 in support of Back to Football Friday.

  In classes, schools, office buildings and local stores across the country, everyone will be getting ready for the first weekend of NFL games and celebrating the return of football.

• Chicago Public School Back to School / Back to Football Player Visits

  A key component to the week will be the Back to Football Back to School event on Tuesday, September 6, the first official school day for most Chicago Public Schools. Bears players are scheduled to appear at different CPS schools to greet children, ring the bell to announce the start of the new school year and stress the importance of attendance on the first day and every day.

  Parking:	Free
  Tickets:	No tickets will be distributed, free and open to the public
  Event features:	Win tickets to the home opener, player appearances, giveaways and food and drink specials. No autographs available.

• WEAR YOUR NAVY AND ORANGE ON FRIDAY

  The 2011 season is about to kickoff, and to help celebrate the return of Bears football, Bears fans will be donning their navy and orange at the office, classroom, Bears Rally at Daley Plaza and wherever else they are headed that day! Join the rest of the 4th Phase and show off your best navy and orange outfit!

  Back to Football Rally
  When:	10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. with a presentation on stage at noon
  Where:	Daley Plaza (downtown Chicago) (Map)
  Parking:	Parking is available for purchase in the lots surrounding Daley Plaza. Use of public transportation is encouraged.
  Tickets:	No tickets will be distributed; event is free and open to the public.
  Event features:	Win tickets to the home opener, giveaways, alumni autographs, interactive games, food vendors and a big rally to kick off the 2011 season at noon.
  Odds/Ends:	Fans are encouraged to wear their Blue and Orange to work on Friday and to the rally.
  Alumni appearance schedule:	TBD – Alumni will be present for autograph opportunities
  Extras:	Free Back to Football Week posters will be distributed throughout the event.
  Ticket raffle:	Stop by the main stage and pick up a raffle ticket to win game tickets. The winning ticket will be drawn during the noon rally.
