Security Information

Please be advised, enhanced security procedures will require more time to enter the stadium. Walk-through metal detectors will be used at all gates at Soldier Field.

Don't Wait, Get to the Gate.
The Game Starts with the Anthem.

Enhanced NFL security measures may lead to increased entry times to the game. In an effort to ensure the safety of all guests entering Soldier Field, every patron will enter through upright metal detectors and all carry-in items will be searched. To allow for these security measures, guests are encouraged to enter the stadium early. Our gates open two hours prior to kickoff.

New to 2016: Soldier Field will be enhancing security through the use of walk-through metal detectors.
Read more about enhanced screen procedures.

For the comfort and safety of all guests certain items are not permitted to be brought into the stadium. Click here to view the complete list.

Alerts

SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING: If you see something suspicious, notify stadium personnel immediately.

Ticket Advisory: To avoid counterfeit tickets, we suggest that fans purchase tickets directly from the Chicago Bears Ticket Office or from Ticketmaster. Selling and purchasing of game tickets on Park District property is prohibited. Both the seller AND the purchaser are subject to arrest.

Traffic Advisory: Construction on I-55 scheduled through the fall of 2016 will have an impact on traffic around Soldier Field on gamedays. Please review the Parking & Transportation Guide, as routes may have changed from ones previously taken while attending games. Due to the many road construction projects surrounding Soldier Field, we strongly suggest leaving more travel time to drive to Bears games. Click here for updated road construction information.
