LAKE FOREST, Ill. – As part of the Bears' school outreach program, tight end Kellen Davis on Tuesday visited Parker Elementary School and linebacker Jamar Willams appeared at Chase Elementary School.

Bears players visit Chicago schools to speak to, motivate and interact with students. The theme for the player appearances is character development, goal setting, commitment to excellence and the importance of leading a healthy, active lifestyle.

The school outreach program, which is in its 12th season, benefits more than 7,000 students annually.

It’s a wrap
Bears tight end Greg Olsen appeared at the FedEx office at 1242 Canal Street in Chicago Tuesday morning to help kick off the holiday season by packing and shipping items brought in by customers. Fans also had a chance to win autographed NFL merchandise.

The event is part of the national FedEx “Pack and Ship” promotion, which gives customers a chance to win Super Bowl XLIV tickets and meet their NFL hometown heroes by signing up and shipping their holiday gifts and everyday packages at any FedEx Office this holiday season.
