LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Bears on Wednesday released defensive tackle Babatunde Oshinowo and guard Mike Jones.

Oshinowo was elevated to the Bears' active roster for the final three weeks of the 2007 season, appearing in one game, after being signed to Chicago’s practice squad in Week 2. Oshinowo was selected by the Browns in the sixth round of the 2006 draft (181st overall). The Stanford product has appeared in two games in his NFL career, recording two tackles.

Jones spent the final seven weeks of his rookie season on the Bears' practice squad last year after entering the NFL with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Iowa.
