LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Secluded deep in the heart of Green Bay Packers territory, it’s probably the last place in the country that you’d expect to find a bar filled with avid Bears fans.

“Bears fans are good people and we love to have them,” said owner John Law, whose parents are both Chicago natives. “It’s a good time. The fans are pretty rabid. They do a lot of screaming.”
There no doubt will be a lot of screaming Monday night when the Bears host the Packers.
The bowling alley is located in Chetek, Wis., a town of just over 2,000 residents that’s located north of Eau Claire, Wis., and about 350 miles from Chicago.
Law converts a pool room in the back of the bar into a Bears den on game day. He gives away Bears memorabilia at halftime and awards free Jell-O shots for every Bears score.
Law displays a Brian Urlacher jersey and a few other Bears items but concedes “they’re usually hidden away until game time.”
About 40-50 fans usually show up at Chetek Lanes to watch the Bears. Asked if there have ever been any problems between Bears and Packers fans, Law said: “There have been some slight instances, but they have fun with it.”
