LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Bears on Thursday announced that they will conduct training camp from July 31 through Aug. 21 at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, where fans will be able to watch practice free of charge and enjoy a variety of special events.

Bears running back Matt Forte signs autographs for fans last year at training camp in Bourbonnais.

The Bears will hold training camp at ONU for the eighth straight summer. The campus is located 60 miles south of Chicago and boasts four practice fields, air-conditioned locker rooms and dining facilities, a weight room, meeting rooms, and dorms for players and staff.

Most practices begin at noon, 3 p.m. or 7 p.m. The Bears will conduct their Family Day practice on Saturday, Aug. 8 at Soldier Field. Tickets for Family Day will go on sale next month.

Information about other special activities and events at training camp will be released at a later date.
