LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Chicago Bears Network, the team’s in-house broadcasting department, won four Emmy Awards earlier this month.
The awards were presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences at the 2009 Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards at the Park West.
The Chicago Bears Network, which competes with news outlets in the No. 3 media market in the United States, won in the following categories:
Outstanding Achievement for Sports Programs—Sports Program Series Covering Sports or Based on a Sports Theme: Bears Gameday Live, the team’s Sunday morning pre-game show on Fox.
Outstanding Achievement for Sports Programs—Single Sports Program/Special: Inside the Draft series, which can be seen on ChicagoBears.com.
Outstanding Achievement for Individual Excellence Off Camera—Videography Non-News: Kevin Foy.
Outstanding Achievement for Individual Excellence Off Camera—Graphics Animations Non-News: Rommel Paraiso and Mike Vasquez.
