MasterCard’s objectives through their Bears partnership continue to drive brand affection by providing their cardholders with exclusive access to Priceless Bears experiences. They plan to accomplish this through their new Priceless Chicago platform. Priceless Chicago launched in late July and is the second city in the United States to roll out a Priceless Cities program, designed to bring consumers closer to their passions – dining, sports, shopping, arts and entertainment, and travel – through exclusive experiences and privileged access throughout the Chicagoland area. MasterCard has worked closely with the Bears to understand what is meaningful to fans. As such, they will look to leverage a variety of assets including event tickets and unique priceless experiences created specifically for their Priceless Chicago platform.
In addition, MasterCard hopes to drive usage and preference of MasterCard at Soldier Field. MasterCard will have a presence at all points of sale inside Soldier Field at gamedays. There will be branding at each concession stand, Pro Shop and and every point of transaction down to the bill presenters in the United Club and suites. MasterCard will have the opportunity to have counter mats at each register that will help them promote the current offer for cardholders, and there will also be a “MasterCard Deal of the Day” in the Pro Shops which will feature a discounted item for fans who use their MasterCard to purchase that item.
They will also look to the Bears and MasterCard social/media channels and local media investment to communicate with fans.
In all, MasterCard knows Bears fans will be excited about the exclusive access to special offers at Soldier Field available through Priceless Chicago, as well as tickets and priceless experiences you can’t get without being a cardholder.
