Rosario was originally acquired by the Bears last Sept. 2 in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick. After being inactive in the season opener, the 6-3, 242-pounder appeared in the final 15 games, primarily as a blocker.
Rosario's only catch of the season was a 13-yarder in a Week 14 win over the Cowboys. He also recorded five special teams tackles.
Rosario has appeared in 106 NFL games with 29 starts for the Carolina Panthers (2007-10), Miami Dolphins (2011), Denver Broncos (2011), San Diego Chargers (2012) and Bears, catching 100 passes for 1,119 yards and eight touchdowns.
