ChicagoBears.com launched a five-part video series Wednesday that takes a comprehensive behind-the-scenes look at the Bears’ rookie minicamp.

The fifth annual feature, entitled “Inside Rookie Minicamp,” gives fans unprecedented access to Bears players and coaches. Viewers will be taken inside meeting rooms, the locker room, weight room, equipment room, lunch room and onto the practice field.

Inside Rookie Minicamp is presented by Chicago Tribune Digital Sports.

In the first segment, Bears rookies arrive at Halas Hall and attend an introductory meeting led by coach Marc Trestman. Cameras follow undrafted free agent Jordan Lynch driving to Lake Forest from his parents’ home in Mount Greenwood, Ill., and also capture the arrivals of draft picks Ego Ferguson, Will Sutton and Brock Vereen at O’Hare Airport.

“It’s an honor and privilege to be in front of you tonight,” Trestman tells the rookies. “I want to congratulate you. It’s a tremendous accomplishment by each and every one of you just to be in this room. We’re here to give you every opportunity to live your dream.”

Inside Rookie Minicamp was shot and produced by the Chicago Bears Network using specialty cameras and incorporating 4K footage. The five segments will be featured on ChicagoBears.com and the Chicago Bears Official Mobile App throughout June.

The entire series will also air in its entirety as a half-hour show on Fox 32 Chicago on Saturday, June 14 at 5:30 p.m. and on Friday, June 20 at 9:30 p.m.
