The 6-foot, 205-pounder has appeared in 20 games over the past three seasons with the Chiefs (2011-12) and Ravens (2013), rushing for 235 yards and two touchdowns on 63 carries.

Draughn also has caught 24 passes for 158 yards, averaged 23.6 yards on 25 kickoff returns and recorded four tackles and one forced fumble on special teams.

Draughn entered the NFL with the Redskins in 2011 as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina. When he signed with the Chiefs in October 2011, Bears general manager Phil Emery was Kansas City's director of college scouting.

After getting released by the Ravens last October, Draughn spent four days with the Colts, but did not appear in a game with Indianapolis.
