Seymour appeared in 31 games with the Bears over three seasons from 1970-72, catching 21 passes for 385 yards and five touchdowns.
In 1974, Seymour played for the Chicago Fire in the World Football League.
Seymour was a first-team All-American at Notre Dame in 1967 and 1968.
In his first college game in 1966, he set a school receiving record that still stands with 276 yards against Purdue. The Fighting Irish won the national championship in 1966 with a 9-0-1 record.
