Each football season, Boeing and the USO honor active military and veterans, giving them a moment on the field at the home games of the Chicago Bears. This year that tradition continues and grows as we honor all those who serve at home and away with the creation of a stirring musical tribute video premiering this Veterans Day, November 11, during halftime of the Bears-Texans game.
The video features a rousing soundtrack by Chicago’s own legendary jazz musician and Emmy Award-winning composer, Orbert Davis and Chicago Jazz Philharmonic. Preview and purchase the soundtrack at www.chijazzphil.org/homeandaway. $1.00 from every purchase will go to support America’s troops and their families through the USO of Illinois.
You can be a part of this momentous tribute by sending a message of gratitude to all veterans, military members and families—serving both at home and away. Simply post your salute photo at www.facebook.com/usoofillinois. A simple gesture of thanks to our heroes in uniform. Then come back to see photos from those who care, including special messages from the Chicago Bears players, fans and more.
In addition, all Bears fans attending the game on November 11 will be encouraged to participate in a one-of-a-kind photo before kickoff. This photo will then be housed at www.chicagobears.com/fancam where fans can find themselves and share this great moment with family and friends.
