With Devin Hester returning to Halas Hall Monday to sign a one-day contract and officially retire as a member of the Bears, here's a look at his career in Chicago by the numbers:

Number of kick return touchdowns Hester scored as a Bears rookie in 2006, the most in a single-season in NFL history.

Number of kick return touchdowns Hester scored in his second season with the Bears in 2007, eclipsing the NFL mark of five he had set as a rookie.

Number of special teams player of the week awards Hester won with the Bears.

Number of touchdown receptions Hester produced while catching 217 passes for 2,807 yards as a receiver. His most productive season on offense came in 2009 when he caught 57 passes for 757 yards and three TDs.

Number of kick return touchdowns Hester scored in eight seasons with the Bears, the most in NFL history. The total does not count his kickoff return TD in Super Bowl XLI.

Number of players who were drafted before the Bears selected Hester with the 57th pick in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. The Titans were set to choose Hester at No. 45, but they decided at the last minute to pick running back LenDale White instead.

Number of yards Hester covered while scoring a touchdown on a punt return in his first NFL game, a 26-0 drubbing of the Packers in Green Bay in the 2006 season opener.

Number of yards Hester covered while returning a missed field goal attempt for a touchdown in a 38-20 road win over the New York Giants on Nov. 12, 2006. It was the longest play of Hester's career and tied Bears teammate Nathan Vasher for the longest play in NFL history at the time.

Punt return yards Hester compiled in a stunning 24-23 comeback victory over the Cardinals in Arizona on Oct. 16, 2006, the most in Bears history. The total includes a game-winning 83-yarder with 2:58 remaining.

Punt return yards Hester amassed in eight seasons with the Bears—the most in team history—while scoring an NFL-record 13 touchdowns.
