Wondering about a player, a past game or another issue involving the Bears? Senior writer Larry Mayer answers a variety of email questions from fans on ChicagoBears.com.

It seems like the Bears always win when they score a defensive touchdown. What is their record under Lovie Smith when the defense gets in the end zone?

Ken G.
Louisville, Kentucky

With their win over the Jaguars Sunday, the Bears are now 21-5 when scoring a defensive touchdown since Lovie Smith became their head coach in 2004, including 3-0 this season.

Where does Matt Forte's 13 100-yard rushing games rank in Bears history?

Alan H.
Hampshire, Illinois

With 13 100-yard games, Matt Forte is tied with Rick Casares and Thomas Jones for fourth place in Bears history behind Walter Payton (77), Gale Sayers (20) and Neal Anderson (14).

I read that the 38 points the Bears scored in the second half against the Jaguars was the second most in a second half in team history. When did they score more?

Kevin B.
Harwood Heights, Illinois

The only time the Bears scored more points in the second half than they did Sunday in Jacksonville was on Nov. 30, 1941 when they tallied 49 in a 49-14 win over the Eagles in Philadelphia.
