I know the Bears have talked about
Michigan City, Indiana
First let me say that while the Bears have said that they could see Kyle Long eventually moving to tackle, I don’t see them making that move this year. They want him to build off his Pro Bowl rookie season and continue to develop at right guard. With that being said, I could see Long getting a couple of reps at tackle here and there just to prepare for an emergency situation like the Bears experienced a few years ago when they lost both of their starting guards to injury in the same game. A fluke situation like that would be the only scenario I see where Long would play tackle this season. The Bears were very lucky last year in terms of starting the same five linemen in all 16 games, but they realize that injuries do happen and no doubt will be prepared for any situation.
When do you think that
Robbie Gould needs 92 points to surpass Kevin Butler’s all-time Bears record of 1,116 points. If Gould scores at the same rate he did last season when he tallied 123 points, he would break the record in the Bears’ 12th game of the year on Thanksgiving Day against the Lions in Detroit.
Which Bears rookie do you think will make the biggest impact this season?
It would be easy for me to say first-round cornerback
