COLLEGE: Finished his final collegiate campaign taking home first-team all-Lone Star Conference honors along with defensive player-of-the-year and defensive lineman-of-the-year, recording 40 tackles and team-highs for sacks (6.0), tackles for losses (12.5), quarterback hurries (7), forced fumbles (2) and blocked kicks (3)… As a junior, led the Wildcats to the first 11-0 regular season record in school history and earned first-team all-LSC and LSC defensive lineman-of-the-year for the third time… Posted 28 tackles, 14.5 for losses, 7 sacks, 1 interception returned for a touchdown, 5 fumble recoveries and 3 blocked kicks… Named first-team All-America and first-team all-region as a sophomore, tallying 9.5 sacks and 14.5 tackles for losses… As a redshirt freshman, voted first-team all-LSC South Division, co-defensive lineman-of-the-year and freshman-of-the-year… Finished third in the league with 9.0 sacks, while also forcing 2 fumbles, recovering 4, posting 7 hurries, 3 breakups and 1 blocked kick… Redshirted as a true freshman.

PERSONAL: One of the top fullbacks in the state, leading Vernon (TX) High School to the 2006 Class 3A Division II semifinals… Rushed for 1,934 yards and 24 touchdowns to earn first-team all-district honors and MVP of the Wichita Falls Times Record-News Red River 22 Team… Has a son, Aston Jr.
