In NFL rookie season after joining the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Portland State... Was named the Rimington Award winner as the top center in the nation for the FCS level of Division I football as a senior in 2014... Appeared in 37 career games (35 starts) in four seasons at Portland State (2014-11)... First team All-Big Sky Conference as a senior (center) and third team all-conference as a junior (left guard)...Part of an offensive line that established the four highest rushing yardage totals in school history (3,330 yards in 2013; 2,726 in 2011; 2,500 in 2014; 2,382 in 2012)... Part of an offensive line that allowed just 35 sacks over four seasons (46 games) from 2011-14... Competed in the FCS National Bowl All-Star game, starting at center following 2014 season.

JUNIOR - As a junior, started 12-of-12 games, helping the offense set school records in single-season rushing yards (3,330), total offense (6,486) and rushing touchdowns (36)... Ranked third in the nation in rushing and total offense... Allowed only 10 sacks as a line while attempting 365 passes... Named third team All-Big Sky Conference.

SOPHOMORE - Started every game at left guard... Blocked for an offense that averaged 438.7 yards and 34.8 points per game... Offensive line allowed only 7 sacks, fourth in the nation... Earned honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference.

FRESHMAN - Played in 3 games as a true freshman at guard.

PERSONAL: Attended Curtis High School (University Place, WA)... Named Lineman of the Year in the South Puget Sound League South Division as a senior... Earned first team all-League and all-State as an offensive and defensive lineman and All-State honors.... 2010 Tacoma News Tribune All Area Lineman... Earned first team South Puget Sound League offensive and defensive Line as a junior.
