Biography

PRO CAREER: Saw rookie season derailed by an injury, landing on Injured Reserve on 9/3/11 prior to the Bears regular season opener.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS: Selected by Chicago in the sixth round (195th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft (4/30/11)... Signed 4-year contract with Bears (7/27/11). SIGNED THROUGH 2014

2011 SEASON: Played in preseason, but was placed on Injured Reserve (9/3) prior to season opener... Had two defensive tackles and one special teams stop in the preseason. GAMES PLAYED-STARTED: 0-0

COLLEGE CAREER: Attended West Virginia University (2006-10) where he was a three-year starter at linebacker... Two-time all-Big East first-team selection... Played in 49 career games, making 39 starts... Tallied 233 tackles (106 solo), 6.0 sacks and 27.0 TFLs... Added 2 INTs, 13 PBUs, 4 forced fumbles and 4 fumble recoveries... All-Big East first-team honoree as a senior starting all 13 games, finishing second on the team with 73 tackles (36 solo)...
