COLLEGE: Finished his Texas A&M career with 105 receptions, 1,246 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns… His 105 receptions tied the school career record for TEs with Rod Bernstine (1983-86) and his receiving yardage total set an Aggie tight end career record…Holds school record with at least 1 reception in 29 consecutive games… Lettered twice for the Texas A&M basketball team, appearing in 26 games as a reserve forward during the 2005-06 season… Communications major.

PERSONAL: Attended Alief High School in Taylor, Texas, where he was a 3-year starter at TE… Consensus prep All-America selection, a 2-time all-district and all-greater Houston choice… Earned first-team Class 5A all-state honors from the Texas Sports Writers Association as a senior in 2004… Also played basketball, picking up all-greater Houston accolades in 2004-05 as a senior… Married to the former Siggi Walker.
