PRO CAREER: Enters second year with the Bears and seventh NFL season overall hauling in 205 receptions for 2,231 yards (10.9 ypc) and 14 touchdowns in 92 career games (62 starts)... Set career-highs in receptions (65) and receiving yards (759) while tying a career-high in touchdown receptions (5), in first season with the Bears... 65 receptions in 2013 were second most in Bears single-season history among tight ends, trailing Hall of Famer Mike Ditka’s 75 in 1964... One of eight NFL tight ends to total 1,000 receiving yards and 10 TD catches over previous two seasons (2012-13): Vernon Davis, Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzalez, Jimmy Graham, Rob Gronkowski, Greg Olsen and Jason Witten... During the postseason, has played in 2 contests with 1 start, gathering 3 receptions for 27 yards...  Appeared in at least 14 contests in all six NFL seasons and all 16 games in four seasons (2008, 2010 and 2012-13).

PREVIOUS SEASONS: 2012 - Started all 16 games for the Giants, hauling in 55 receptions for 626 receiving yards (11.4 ypc) and 5 TD catches... 5 receptions of 25-plus yards were tied for sixth in the NFL among tight ends. 2011 - Played in 14 games with 7 starts for Dallas... Grabbed 17 catches for 144 yards (8.5 ypc). 2010 - Appeared in all 16 contests for Dallas with 11 starts... Collected 33 receptions for 260 yards (7.9 ypc). 2009 - Started 6 of 14 contests played during the regular season for the Cowboys... Gathered 15 receptions for 159 yards (10.6 ypc)... Missed 2 games: vs. SD (12/13) and at NO (12/19) due to concussion suffered at NYG (12/6)... Appeared in both postseason contests for Dallas, starting 1, hauling in 3 receptions for 27 yards. 2008 - During rookie season in Dallas, appeared in all 16 games with 7 starts, recording 20 receptions for 283 yards (14.2 ypc) with 4 TDs... Made NFL debut at CLE (9/7)... Started first career contest vs. PHI (9/15)... Caught TD pass in 3 consecutive games (at WAS, 11/16; vs. SF, 11/23; at SEA, 11/27) to become third rookie in franchise history to accomplish the feat, joining Bob Hayes (1965) and Antonio Bryant (2002).  

COLLEGE: Finished his Texas A&M career with 105 receptions, 1,246 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns... His 105 receptions tied the school career record for TEs with Rod Bernstine (1983-86) and his receiving yardage total set an Aggie tight end career record... Holds school record with at least 1 reception in 29 consecutive games... Lettered twice for the Texas A&M basketball team, appearing in 26 games as a reserve forward during the 2005-06 season... Communications major.

PERSONAL: Attended Alief High School in Taylor, Texas, where he was a 3-year starter at TE.. Consensus prep All-America selection, a 2-time all-district and all-greater Houston choice... Earned first-team Class 5A all-state honors from the Texas Sports Writers Association as a senior in 2004... Also played basketball, picking up all-greater Houston accolades in 2004-05 as a senior... Older brother, Michael, plays defense for the Seattle Seahawks... Married to the former Siggi Walker, the couple has a daughter.
