COLLEGE: Finished career at Tulane (2004-07) as the school’s all-time leader in rushing yards per game (99.2), rushing touchdowns (39), total touchdowns (44) and scoring among non-kickers (266 points)… Also finished career ranked second in school annals in all-purpose yards (5,261), rushing yards (4,265), rushing attempts (833) and 100-yard rushing games (16)… 2,127 rushing yards in 2007 which ranks 10th all-time in NCAA FBS history… Added 103 receptions for 985 yards and five TDs… Named MVP for the 2008 Under Armour Senior Bowl.

PERSONAL: District 5A Offensive MVP, all-Metro selection and second-team all-state performer at Slidell (LA) High School… Gathered 2,432 rushing yards and 31 TDs while adding 48 receptions for 618 yards and 5 TDs… Son of Gene and Gilda Forté… Father, Gene, played football at Tulane from 1975-77 and was a team captain in 1977… Married to the former Danielle Daniels…Brother, Bryan, played football at McNeese State… Majored in finance.
