PRO CAREER: Started 48 of 51 games played for the New York Jets (2009-12) before signing with Chicago during the 2013 offseason... Did not allow a sack in 2012 and helped the Jets rush for no less than 1,600 yards each season since he became a full-time starter in 2010 (1,896 in 2012; 1,692 in 2011; 2,374 in 2010)... Started all 16 contests in each of the last 3 seasons... Recovered football in end zone for a touchdown at Denver (11/17/11)... Started all 3 postseason contests played during his career.

COLLEGE: In 2008 at Nebraska, started all 13 games at right guard during his senior season… Helped the offense rank among the nation’s top 20 in scoring, passing and total offense... Received first-team all-Big 12 honors from the San Antonio Express-News, while being a second-team all-conference selection by several other sources... In 2007, played in all 12 games, making eight starts at three different positions, including right guard and both tackle spots... Offense averaged 468.2 yards per game, its best offensive total in 10 seasons, while averaging a school-record 323.8 passing yards per contest... Honorable-mention all-Big 12 from the Associated Press and second-team all-Big 12 by Rivals.com.

PERSONAL: Played one season at Air Force Prep School in Colorado Springs, lining up at offensive tackle... Spent 2003 season at Air Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) High School... Began his high school career at Sweet Home (OR) High School in Oregon for oach Rob Younger... Lettered twice in basketball and four times in track, competing in both discus and shot put, during his prep career.
