COLLEGE CAREER: Started 13-of-34 career games for North Carolina, completing 386-of-572 passes (67.5 pct.) for 4,762 yards, 41 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in three seasons of action ... added 439 rushing yards on 120 attempts (3.7 avg) and 8 touchdowns ... as a junior, was a semifinalist for the Davey O'Brien and Maxwell Awards ... finished his career at North Carolina ranked 5th in passing touchdowns (41), 6th in passing yards (4,762) and 7th in total offense (5,201).
