COLLEGE CAREER: In two seasons with the Spartans (2012-13), set 25 San Jose State football records, including career passing yards (8,382), passing touchdowns (66), completions (639) and completion percentage (68.1)… Owns the two top passing seasons in SJSU history (4,193 yards in 2012 and 4,189 in 2013), the single-season school record for touchdown passes (33 in both 2012 and 2013) and the top two marks for completions (327 in 2012 and 312 in 2013)… Owns Mountain West Conference record for passing yards in a game (547 versus Fresno State, November 29, 2013)… Only SJSU quarterback with two seasons passing for at least 4,000 yards… Spent two seasons at Monterey Peninsula College (2010-11) and one at the University of Nevada (2009)… While at MPC, was named first-team all-Coast Conference quarterback twice… Led team to a 2011 Coast Conference co-championship and a berth in the Sierra Central Credit Union Bowl… For his entire college career, started in all 45 games he played in, connecting on 996-of-1,510 throws for 12,727 yards, 101 touchdowns and 35 interceptions… Scored 8 times on the ground… Majored in Psychology.

PERSONAL: At Palma High in (Salinas, CA) was coached by Jeff Carnazzo… Completed 220-of-319 passes with 6 interceptions for 3,267 yards and 31 touchdowns in his final two seasons… A two-time all-league quarterback and the Tri-County League Most Valuable Offensive Player as a senior… Younger brother, Austen, is a quarterback for San Jose State.
