COLLEGE CAREER: In two seasons with the Spartans set 25 San Jose State football records...  Owns two and shares one Mountain West Conference passing records... Only San Jose State quarterback with two seasons passing for at least 4,000 yards... Signed with San José State in December 2011, after spending two seasons at Monterey Peninsula College and one at the University of Nevada… While at MPC, was named first-team all-Coast Conference quarterback twice... Led his team to a 2011 Coast Conference co-championship and a berth in the Sierra Central Credit Union Bowl… For his complete college career, started in all 45 games he played in, connecting on 996-of-1,510 throws for 12,727 yards, 101 touchdowns and 35 interceptions… Scored 8 times on the ground.

Named a Manning Award Star of the Week three times after the Colorado State, Wyoming and Fresno State victories... For the Fresno State win, received National Offensive Player-of-the-Week honors from the Walter Camp National Football Foundation, CBSSports.com, College Football Performance Awards, The Kickoff, CollegeSportsMadness.com... Named ESPN.com’s 5-Star Player-of-the-Week following the Fresno State game… Finished the year completing 312-of-487 tosses for 4,189 yards 33 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Ranked 3rd in passing efficiency, 6th in passing yards, 7th in passing yards per game and 8th in touchdown passes nationally… Set a school single-game record with 38 pass completions and seven San Jose State single-season passing records... Listed as a Manning Award Star of the Week for the Colorado State (9/15) and the Louisiana Tech (11/24) wins... A Davey O’Brien Award Quarterback of the Week honorable mention for the Colorado State game… Compiled a career-high 4,193 passing yards on 327 completions (451 attempts)… Threw 33 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. SOPHOMORE (MPC): Named first-team all-Coast Conference quarterback for the second consecutive season and added Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors during his sophomore campaign… Led his team to the Coast Conference co-championship and a berth in the Sierra Central Credit Union Bowl... Threw for 2,517 yards and 25 touchdowns on 189-of-292 passes, adding 4 more scores rushing. REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (MPC): In his first season at MPC, WAS named first-team All-Coast Conference… Started all 10 games, hitting on 168-of-280 attempts for 1,828 yards, 10 touchdowns and 3 interceptions… Also ran for 2 scores. FRESHMAN (NEVADA): Originally signed with Nevada after the 2008 season... No game action in 2009.

PERSONAL: At Palma High (Salinas, CA) was coached by Jeff Carnazzo... Completed 220-of-319 passes with 6 interceptions for 3,267 yards and 31 touchdowns in his final two seasons... A two-time all-league quarterback and the Tri-County League Most Valuable Offensive Player as a senior… Majored in Psychology...Younger brother, Austen, is a quarterback for San Jose State.
