PRO CAREER: Fifth-year pro joins the Bears with experience at both tackle positions and guard… Has played in 37 games with 30 starts for the Jacksonville Jaguars… Started 23 games at RT and 7 at LG… Played in only 4 games in 2011 due to back injury… Started first 7 games in 2010 before he was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury… One of three rookies to start 15-plus games for the Jaguars in 2009, all of them coming at RT.

PREVIOUS SEASONS: 2011 - Was hampered by a back injury and played in only 4 games with 3 starts… Was inactive for 5 games and was placed on IR on Nov. 14. 2010 - Started first seven games at RT before he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury… Was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 26. 2009 - Started 15 games as a rookie RT, the third-most by a rookie OT in Jaguars history… Started season-opener on 9/13 at IND, joining Eugene Monroe as the first pair of rookie tackles to start on opening day in the NFL since 1982 when Luis Sharpe and Tootie Robbins started for the St. Louis Cardinals.

COLLEGE CAREER: Started all 37 games played in three seasons… Played first two seasons at RT (24 games) before switching to LT as a junior (13 games)… Registered 289 knockdowns, 34 down-field blocks and 43 TD-resulting blocks, grading 85.6 for blocking consistency… Was penalized just four times on 2,461 snaps… Started all 13 games as a junior in 2008 at LT… Earned All-America honorable mention by The NFL Draft Report and first-team all-Pac 10… Registered a school single-season record with 125 knockdowns with 17 TD-resulting blocks (tops in Pac-10)… Started all 12 games at RT as a sophomore… Was third-team All-America selection and all-Pac 10 first-team selection by The NFL Draft Report… Graded a conference-best 86.6 percent for blocking consistency, tops in the nation among RTs… Started all 12 games as a redshirt freshman at RT in 2006… Earned first-team Freshman All-America honors from The NFL Draft Report...
