PRO CAREER: 4-time Pro Bowler (2008-11), enters his 11th season, having started 100-of-120 contests with Dallas (2005-12) and Chicago (2013-14), totaling 372.5 tackles, 35 sacks, 27.5 TFLs, 18 PBUs, 5 FFs and 13 FRs... Has appeared in 16 contests over 2 seasons with the Bears (15 starts), recording 55.5 tackles, 8 sacks, 2.5 TFLs and 16 QB pressures... 8 sacks since first appearence in a Bears uniform on 12/1/13 are second most on the team and tied for 8th most amongst NFL DTs... Only NFL DT to make the Pro Bowl each season from 2008-11 and one-of-three NFL defensive linemen to do so (Dwight Freeney & Julius Peppers).

COLLEGE: Moved from defensive end to defensive tackle in his senior season and started all 13 games, tying his career-high with 37 tackles while also adding TFLs and 1 sack… Helped the Tigers finish 13-0 by defeating Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl, in which he made 3 tackles…  Played in 9 games as a junior reserve defensive end, making 7 tackles, including 1 TFL.. Before his sophomore year, moved from tight end to defensive end during spring drills and started 8-of-12 games and tied a career-high with 37 tackles, including a career-high 10 TFLs... He also had 2 FFs and a sack… As a freshman tight end, played in all 12 games, with 1 start, and had 3 catches for 38 yards.

PERSONAL: Earned all-state and honorable mention All-USA Today honors after catching 46 passes for 701 yards and 7 touchdowns as a senior at Lowndes County High School in Valdosta, Ga…. Finished his prep career as one of the top-rated tight ends in the southeast… Also lettered in track and basketball for Lowndes, averaging 18.0 points and 18.0 rebounds per-game as a junior.
