PRO CAREER: Enters his first season as a Bear having appeared in 79 games with 54 starts over six seasons with San Francisco (2008-11) and Washington (2012-13)... Amassed 199 receptions for 2,488 yards (12.5 avg) and 11 receiving touchdowns, as well as 12 rushes for 116 yards (9.7 avg)... Also has returned 27 kicks for 625 yards (253.1 avg) and 8 punts for 59 yards (7.4 avg)… Caught 1 postseason reception for 0 yards in his lone playoff appearence.

COLLEGE: Played in 51 games (24 starts) for the Hokies, notching 122 receptions for 1,817 yards and 16 TDs… Also added 26 kickoff returns for 450 yards and 6 carries for 20 yds… Finished career ranked second in school history with 122 receptions (WR Ernest Wilford - 126) and fourth with 1,817 receiving yards and 16 TDs... In 2007, played in 14 games (11 starts) and led the Hokies with a career-high 46 receptions for 552 yards and five TDs, while adding 16 kickoff returns for 276 yards… As a junior, played in 12 games (11 starts), registering 33 receptions for 448 yards and 4 TDs... In 2005, played in 13 games, recording 28 receptions for 471 yards and four TDs... As a freshman, played in 12 games, hauling in 15 receptions for 346 yards and three TDs.

PERSONAL: Attended Howard D. Woodson HS in Washington, D.C., and earned All-DCIAA honors as a senior... Spent the 2003 fall semester at Fork Union Military Academy, catching 33 passes for 845 yds. with 8 TDs... Also excelled in basketball, earning MVP honors in two tournaments...  Born Joshua Lewis Morgan in Washington, D.C. on June 20, 1985... Dedicated a lot of his time as a youth to writing poems. Eventually wants to write books, including a book of poetry and his autobiography... Credits his godparents, Patrick Gaither, who was his AAU basketball coach, and Sonja Strickland-Gaither, as having the biggest influence on him growing up… Has a tattoo on his bicep of a breast cancer ribbon with angels’ wings… On the ribbon it has Sonja’s name and the date of her diagnosis.
