COLLEGE CAREER: Two-time consensus first team All-American played three seasons at Arizona with 24 starts in 36 games… Set school records for all-purpose yards (5,483), rushing yards (4,329) and rushing TDs (52)… Became the 4th player in school history to rush for at least 1,000 yards in back-to-back seasons (2012-13)… Tallied 743 rushing attempts, 77 receptions for 679 yards (8.8 avg), 4 receiving touchdowns and 27 kickoff returns for 565 yards (20.9 avg).

JUNIOR: Finished the season with 1,885 yards (No. 3 nationally) on a school record 349 carries and 19 touchdowns… 1,885 yards marked his second consecutive 1,000-yard rushing season, something only three other players have done in Wildcat history… Averaged 157.1 yards per game (No. 2 nationally) and 5.4 yards per carry… Averaged 29.08 carries per game to lead the nation… Also hauled in 26 receptions for 173 yards (6.7 avg) and 1 touchdown… Eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark for the 16th consecutive game in Arizona’s Advocare V100 Bowl victory over Boston College (169 yards on 27 attempts and 2 TDs)…  16-straight 100-yard rushing games marks the longest streak in Pac-12 history and the longest for any FBS player in the last 10 seasons… 169 all-purpose yards brought his career mark to 5,483 yards and the Arizona school record, surpassing Dennis Northcutt’s 5,392 yards (1996-99)… Became the school’s all-time rushing leader, surpassing Trung Canidate’s 3,824 yards set from 1996-99… Broke Art Luppino’s school record 48 touchdowns previously set from 1953-56… 48 rushes vs. Oregon (11/23) set a new school record and were the most by any FBS player in a single game in 2013. SOPHOMORE: Started and played in 13 games at running back... Named to eight All-America teams, including Walter Camp, The Sporting News and the Associated Press, to earn consensus All-America honors from the NCAA... All-Pac-12 First-Team... College Football Performance Awards National Running Back of the Year... College Football Performance Awards National Player of the Week and Pac-12 Player of the Week for his performance in the Colorado game ... Four-time Offensive Player of the Week, selected by the Arizona coaching staff... The nation’s leading rusher in yards per game (148.4) and total yards (1,929)... His 1,929 yards rank No. 5 in Pac-12 single-season history and No. 1 in school history ... Broke the Pac-12 and UA single-game rushing records with 366 yards on the ground vs. Colorado (11/10)... Carey’s 24 touchdowns (23 rushing and 1 receiving) ranked No. 5 nationally and No. 1 in the Pac-12 while breaking the Arizona single-season rushing TD school record... The first Wildcat to register back-to-back 200-plus yard rushing games (366 vs. Colorado, 204 at Utah) and is just the third to have multiple 200-yard games in his career... Finished the season with 2,248 all-purpose yards, falling one yard shy of Dennis Northcutt’s single-season school record of 2,249 set in 1999. FRESHMAN: Played in 11 games as a true freshman running back... Second on the club with 425 yards on 91 carries with team-best 6 scoring runs… Team’s top kickoff return specialist with 26 attempts for 549 yards... Had 9 kickoff returns for 197 yards vs. Oregon (9/24), to set school records in both categories.

PERSONAL:  Member of the PrepStar Dream Team, Tacoma News-Tribune Western 100, Arizona Republic All-Arizona, Arizona Republic First-Team 4A All-State, Arizona Daily Star First-Team All-Southern Arizona, Arizona Football Coaches’ Association First-Team All-State Top 25, and first-team 4A-I all-state and 4A-I all-conference... MaxPreps Top-25 tailback... Rushed for 1,754 yards and 26 touchdowns as a senior... As a junior, ran the ball 224 times for 2,738 yards, 45 touchdowns, helping Canyon del Oro HS (Oro Valley, AZ) compile a 14-0 record and win the 4A-I state championship.
