Biography

Glennon has started 18-of-21 career contests over four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2013-16). He has completed 374 passes on 630 attempts for 4,100 yards and 30 touchdowns. He also added 86 yards on the ground on 37 attempts. Last season, Glennon appeared in two games, completing 10-of-11 pass attempts for 75 yards and one touchdown.

In 2013, Glennon set franchise rookie records for the Buccaneers in both passing yards (2,608) and passing touchdowns (19) and earned PFW/PFWA All-Rookie honors. He also finished 1st among all NFL rookies in passer rating (83.9), 1st in touchdown passes (19), tied for 1st in completions (247), 2nd in pass attempts (416), 2nd in completion percentage (59.4) and 2nd passing yards (2,608).

Glennon entered the league with Tampa Bay as a 3rd round pick (73rd overall) in the 2013 NFL Draft out of North Carolina State.

While at N.C. State, Glennon threw for 7,411 yards and 63 touchdowns on 646 completions (1,069 attempts). He finished his career 3rd in school history in passing touchdowns, 3rd in pass completions, 4th in passing yards and 4th in passing attempts. He also finished tied for 9th in ACC history in career passing touchdowns. As a senior, he threw for 4,031 yards, joining Philip Rivers as the only Wolfpack quarterbacks to throw for 4,000 yards in a season. Glennon is also one of only three N.C. State quarterbacks (Rivers and Russell Wilson) to complete 300 passes in a single season (330 in 2012).
