Compton has appeared in 60 games with 10 starts over four seasons with the Washington Redskins (2013-15) and Atlanta Falcons (2016). He has also spent time on the Redskins practice squad (2012).

Last season with Atlanta, Compton appeared as a sub in all 16 contests.

Compton entered the NFL with Washington as a 6th round pick (193rd overall) out of South Dakota.
