  • Bag Policy

To enhance game day safety for fans, the NFL has implemented a new policy to limit the quantity and size of bags that are permitted inside stadiums. Based on recommended NFL public safety best practices, the Bears strongly encourage fans to not bring any bags. In the event that it is necessary for a fan to enter the stadium with a bag, one (per person) of the bags listed below will be permitted inside Soldier Field:

    • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12"x6"x12"
    • One-gallon re-sealable 10"x10"x2" clear freezer bag
    • Women's clutch purse (small bag roughly the size of a hand) with one of the clear plastic bags
    • Medical bags for accompanying patron

All items subject to search. All other bags will be denied. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, non-clear cinch bags, luggage of any kind, seat cushions with zippered covers, pockets or flaps, computer bags, camera bags, and any bag larger than the permissible size.

Guests must return unauthorized items to their vehicles. The Bears and SMG/Soldier Field Management cannot safeguard items which are not permitted to be brought into the stadium.

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO STORAGE AVAILABLE FOR PROHIBITED ITEMS

    THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • Enhanced Screening Procedures

"Don't Wait, Get to the Gate: The Game Starts with the Anthem."

Enhanced NFL security measures may lead to increased entry times to the game. Stadium gates open two hours prior to kick-off. We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE fans to arrive early and be patient when entering the stadium. The enhanced security procedures at stadium gates recommended by the NFL will increase comfort and safety of fans at the game, but will require extra time for inspections and screening.

You and your belongings may be searched upon entry into Soldier Field. By tendering your ticket and entering the stadium, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against the NFL, its member clubs, their affiliates, and stadium landlord – their agents. If you elect to not consent to the searches, you will be denied entry to the stadium. Every guest must pass through a security checkpoint. No re-entries are permitted. All gates at Soldier Field are ADA accessible.
