Pro football hall of fame enshrinement speech

(joined in progress). . .then may we say at life's close, I have fought the good fights. I have finished my course. I have kept the fates. Today, I am the luckiest man in the world, I have reached the climax of my entire career. The panoramas of God's gifts have unfolded before me, and this is the final reward of my athletic life. I accept this honor with humbleness and pride. Thank God for the thoughtful people who have made this honor possible, who let a small light of happiness into each of our fading lives. Thank you.
