The Bears went undefeated in November this season (4-0) for the first time since 2010 when they also were 4-0. Interestingly, that was also the last time they won three games in 12 days: They beat the Bills and Vikings on back-to-back Sundays before defeating the Dolphins on Thursday Night Football, and then closed the month with a win over the Eagles. This year the Bears opened November by defeating the Bills and then beat the Lions, Vikings and Lions again in a 12-day span. The 2010 Bears won the NFC North with an 11-5 record and advanced to the NFC Championship Game.
How close are the Bears to breaking their team record for defensive touchdowns in a season?

The Bears have scored six defensive touchdowns in 11 games, which puts them on pace for 8.7 this season, a little shy of the team record of nine set by the 2012 squad. Charles Tillman led that team with three, Lance Briggs scored two and Brian Urlacher, Tim Jennings, Major Wright and Zachary Bowman added one apiece. This season Eddie Jackson has scored three defensive touchdowns, while Prince Amukamara, Leonard Floyd and Khalil Mack all have produced one each.

This is only the fourth time the Bears have had an 8-3 record since 1951. The three previous instances all came during Lovie Smith's tenure as head coach. The Bears went on to win the NFC North with 11-5 marks in both 2005 and 2010 but finished 10-6 and out of the playoffs in 2012.
