How many Bears players remain from the 2006 team that went to the Super Bowl?

By my count there are six players left from the squad that reached Super Bowl XLI: Linebacker Lance Briggs, center Roberto Garza, kicker Robbie Gould, return specialist Devin Hester, long-snapper Patrick Mannelly and cornerback Charles Tillman. Garza, Hester, Mannelly and Tillman are all due to become unrestricted free agents in March.
After watching Kyle Long play in the Pro Bowl, how many consecutive years has coach Aaron Kromer sent an offensive lineman to Hawaii?

Bears offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Aaron Kromer has now sent a player he's coached to the Pro Bowl in each of the last six years. In Kromer's five seasons with the New Orleans Saints from 2008-12, five of his linemen combined to make 10 Pro Bowl appearances. That includes current Bears left tackle Jermon Bushrod, who went in 2011 and 2012.
Do you think the Bears will consider moving Charles Tillman from cornerback to safety as a way to extend his career?

I have no doubt that Charles Tillman would perform well at safety, but I have not heard any rumblings that that type of switch is going to happen. I'd actually be very surprised if that move was made. Tillman is arguably the best cornerback in Bears history and I don't think his skills have diminished to the point where that position switch would benefit him or the team.
