Biography

Jimmy Mangiero is in his first season as assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Chicago Bears.

Mangiero joins the Bears with 11 years of strength and conditioning experience, including three seasons in the NFL. He most recently served as the assistant strength and conditioning coach alongside Bears head strength and conditioning coach Jim Arthur in Miami for three seasons (2019-21).

Prior to joining the Dolphins, Mangiero was the assistant head strength and conditioning coach for Boston College for six seasons (2012-17) before his promotion to associate head strength and conditioning coach during his final season (2018). Mangiero began his strength and conditioning career in 2011, after being named Temple University's assistant strength and conditioning coach. He also spent one season (2010) coaching the tight ends for Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa.

Mangiero is married to his wife, Paige, who is an athletic trainer. He is the son of Dino and Jamie Mangiero and has two brothers, Danny, and Chris. He played offensive line at Hofstra University.
