Bears to hold Miller Lite Chicago Bears Block Party on Aug. 31

The Chicago Bears will hold the fourth annual Miller Lite Chicago Bears Block Party on Saturday, Aug. 31, in Logan Square to kick off the 2019 regular season. The free event will be held from noon-10 p.m. on Milwaukee Avenue between North Spaulding Avenue and North Kedzie Avenue.

Fans can enjoy tailgate-style food, beverages and Miller Lite's Bar 75 and Miller Lite food truck, in addition to family-friendly activities, the Kid Zone featuring Chicago Bears Kids Club brought to you by Jewel-Osco and Crib Club brought to you by PNC and various photo opportunities including the Mighty Matchup brought to you by Undeniably Dairy. The musical lineup will feature Jugo de Mango, Chicago 6 (featuring Bears alumni Dan Hampton, Steve McMichael and Otis Wilson), Love in October, Marina City, Friday Pilots Club and Lovelytheband. Voice of the Bears on WBBM Newsradio 780 & 105.9 FM Jeff Joniak and former Chicago Bear and current Color Analyst of the Bears on WBBM Newsradio 780 & 105.9 FM Tom Thayer will preview the season opener and the Chicago Bears Drumline brought to you by The Pride Stores and Monster Squad brought to you by Planters will make appearances.
