The Bears brought their Mini Monsters clinics back to the United Kingdom for a second year in a row, using a six-city tour to teach 2,000 children about American football while promoting healthy lifestyles.

Receiver Chase Claypool and England Rugby legend Ugo Monye joined children in London for a 90-minute clinic which is designed to inspire and encourage more kids to pick up an American Football for the first time. This was one of the six-city tour stops which saw the Bears, along with alumni Shaun Gayle and Kasseem Sinceno, travel across the United Kingdom and reach approximately 2,000 children from over 50 schools. Mini Monsters clinics, brought to you by United Airlines, provide free youth coaching for boys and girls between the ages of 7-12 and stress the importance of healthy eating, physical activity and proper hydration through fun, non-contact American football drills helping young people to build confidence through access to a new sport.

In partnership with the New York Jets and NFL, the Bears helped bring the first girls flag football league to the United Kingdom and kicked off the season with a launch event Wednesday in London.

The Bears on Thursday announced Dylan Provenzano, a senior at Barrington High School, as the 2023 Collin Wehr Scholarship recipient. Dylan was surprised at Halas Hall for what he believed was his final interview. Instead, offensive lineman Lucas Patrick presented Dylan with an oversized $20,000 check, a custom jersey and shared his admiration for Dylan's remarkable journey as a cancer survivor. Lucas also gave Dylan and his family a private tour of Halas Hall. The Chicago Bears Collin Wehr Scholarship program provides financial assistance to young cancer survivors or the siblings of children who lost their battle with pediatric cancer. This scholarship is inspired by Collin Wehr, a friend of the Bears who courageously battled pediatric cancer until March 2013.

Safety Eddie Jackson will be presented with the Bears' 2022 Ed Block Courage Award Tuesday, March 14, at a luncheon at Manzo's Banquets in Des Plaines.

For the first time in organization history, the Bears are in Spain as the Mini Monsters clinics will travel to Badalona, Barcelona and Madrid to continue bringing American football to international markets.

On Jan. 3, Gerri Green and Staley Da Bear visited a local children's hospital in Chicago, to deliver teddy bears to patients and their families. Green and Staley spent time bonding with patients, taking photos and signing autographs while comforting their families. In addition, Staley and Green played basketball with several kids on the facility's indoor basketball court.

Bears offensive linemen Braxton Jones, Michael Schofield III, Ja'Tyre Carter, Dieter Eiselen, Michael Niese and Kellen Diesch visited a Ronald McDonald House in Chicago Tuesday to help families decorate holiday cookies.

The Bears were out in the community Tuesday, as players visited The Firehouse Community Arts Center to help distribute food and Thanksgiving packages to members of the North Lawndale community, the Chosen Tabernacle Food Pantry to help patrons pick out their Thanksgiving items and the Most Blessed Trinity Food Pantry in Waukegan.

On Nov. 22, several Bears running backs and offensive linemen volunteered at Chosen Tabernacle Food Pantry to help patrons organize and prepare items for Thanksgiving. Chosen Tabernacle Food Pantry distributes food weekly to those in need in the Grand Boulevard community to eradicate the effects of hunger and food insecurity.

On Nov. 11, Bears Huddle volunteers headed to North Chicago to assist the Midwest Veterans Closet in packing and distributing thousands of pounds of food to local veterans in the area. They received food from its partners, Lake Forest Jewel, Fresh Market, and Northern Illinois Food Bank, for volunteers to pack food into hundreds of cars for veterans who served our country.

Last Sunday the Bears hosted their first Official Watch Party in the United Kingdom at Flat Iron Square in London.
