General manager Ryan Poles spoke with Jeff Joniak Sunday on the Bears pregame radio show on ESPN 1000 AM and 100.3 HD2 FM.

Poles discussed the Bears wrapping up their slate of home games this season with a win last Sunday against Atlanta, marking a fifth consecutive victory at Soldier Field. He expressed his gratitude for the energy Bears fans brought on New Year's Eve and all season long.

"That's one of the cooler parts of this season is we got a lot of our wins and made a lot of progress at home for our fans to see," Poles said. "They've had a lot patience and they kept coming out and showing their passion for the team. We were able to really just start to turn the page and see what this team is capable in the future and share those moments with our home crowd. I love the passion and the love they have for Justin and this football team. It's just going to continue to grow and get better."

The Bears will finish their 2023 season Sunday afternoon in Green Bay versus the team they started it against. Poles is excited about the team's growth since the Week 1 and is looking for the group to continue its strong end to the season.

"This team has come a long ways," Poless said. "The ability that they've been able to play together — you see that. On defense, the communication, everything is in sync. They're playing hard and finishing, impacting the game. On offense, Justin continues to grow and build that connection with DJ for explosive plays. Cole has had an outstanding season. So I really want to see those guys finish on a high level and really put a cherry on top of this season and the growth that we've seen."
