The Bears didn't have a first-round pick in the 2022 draft, but knowing what we know one year later, a Sports Illustrated writer believes that two of their selections would be chosen in the first round in a "re-draft."

In a “re-draft” of the first round, SI's Gilberto Manzano states that left tackle Braxton Jones now would be picked at No. 19 by the Saints and safety Jaquan Brisker would be chosen at No. 25 by the Ravens.

Jones was selected by the Bears in the fifth round at No. 168 overall. He joined the No. 1 offense at left tackle during OTAs the first week of June and never relinquished the position. Jones not only started all 17 games as a rookie but was the only Bears player who played every snap in 2022.

Brisker was chosen by the Bears in the second round at No. 48. He was selected to the Pro Football Focus 2022 NFL All-Rookie Team and tabbed the Bears Rookie of the Year by ChicagoBears.com. The hard-hitting safety displayed his playmaking ability all year, registering 104 tackles, five tackles-for-loss, a team-leading 4.0 sacks, one interception, two pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Check out the action from Halas Hall as the Bears hit the practice fields for the team's mandatory minicamp.
