Biography

PRO CAREER:

  • Nine year NFL vet enters first season with Bears in 2024
  • Appeared in 130 regular season games in his career with 121 starts, as well as starting eight postseason games
  • Amassed 730 tackles (503 solo) with 28 interceptions (returned for 333 yards with one defensive touchdown), 66 passes defensed, 19 quarterback hits, 15 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, four fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles
  • Also adds 19 special teams tackles (11 solo)
  • Since entering the league in 2016, ranks first in tackles among defensive backs, third in interceptions and 21st in passes defensed, and was named First-Team All-Pro in 2017 and 2021

2023 SEASON (EAGLES/TITANS):

  • Started all 16 games appeared in for the Titans and Eagles, recording 122 tackles (80 solo) with one interception. Traded to Eagles on October 23

2022 SEASON (TITANS):

  • Led the Titans with four interceptions and 106 tackles (68 solo)
  • Marked fifth season (2017-19, 2021-22), and second consecutive leading the Titans in interceptions, and was third straight season leading them in tackles

2021 SEASON (TITANS):

  • Named Associated Press first-team All-Pro and selected to second career Pro Bowl
  • Started all 17 games at safety and tied for fourth in the NFL with a team-leading five interceptions
  • Led the team with 88 tackles and ranked second on the squad 13 passes defensed. Notched a sack, two quarterback pressures, two forced fumbles and a fumble returned for a touchdown
  • Named AFC Defensive Player of the Month for October after registering 27 tackles, three interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, a fumble recovery for a touchdown, a forced fumble and seven passes defensed.

2020 SEASON (TITANS):

  • Started all 16 games at safety and led the team with a career-high 111 tackles
  • Posted an interception, two quarterback pressures, a stop for loss, seven passes defensed and a forced fumble
  • Started the postseason contest and collected five tackles and a pass defensed
  • Led or tied for the team lead in tackles four times
  • Led or tied for the team lead in passes defensed three times
  • Tied for the team lead in quarterback pressures once

2019 SEASON (TITANS):

  • Started all 16 games for the third consecutive season and led the team and tied for fourth in the NFL with five interceptions
  • Tied for second on team with 10 passes defensed
  • Also posted 91 tackles, including two stops for loss, a quarterback pressure and five special teams tackles
  • Caught one pass for 11 yards
  • Started all three postseason contests and registered 20 tackles, an interception and a special teams tackle
  • Led or tied for the team lead in passes defensed four times

2018 SEASON (TITANS):

  • Started all 16 games for the second consecutive season and led team with four interceptions
  • Ranked third on the team with 96 tackles and 10 passes defensed
  • Collected 2.0 sacks, four quarterback pressures and six special teams tackles
  • Also posted a 66-yard touchdown pass on a fake punt. Led the team in tackles once
  • Tied for the team lead in passes defensed six times
  • Tied for the team lead in quarterback pressures
  • Tied for the team lead in sacks once
  • Set a career-high with 16 tackles against Washington

2017 SEASON (TITANS):

  • Selected first-team Associated Press All-Pro at safety and named to first career Pro Bowl
  • Started all 16 games and tied for the NFL lead with eight interceptions
  • Ranked second on the team with 18 passes defensed and third on the squad with a (then) career-high 87 tackles
  • Notched three quarterback pressures, four tackles for loss and two fumble recoveries
  • Started both postseason contests and led the team with 16 tackles
  • Named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after tallying eight tackles and two interceptions against Jacksonville
  • Named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after tying a single-game franchise record with three interceptions at Cleveland
  • Eight interceptions were the most by any franchise player since Oilers cornerback Richard Johnson picked off eight passes in 1990
  • Collected first career interception at Houston
  • Tied a career-high with 10 tackles at Houston
  • Led or tied for the team lead in passes defensed six times

2016 SEASON (TITANS):

  • Played in all 16 games with seven starts as a rookie and finished fifth on the team with 63 tackles
  • Ranked second on the squad with 10 special teams tackles
  • Collected a sack, five tackles for loss, three quarterback pressures and four passes defensed
  • Led or tied for the lead in tackles twice
  • Tied for the team lead in passes defensed twice
  • Led or tied for the team lead in special teams tackles seven times
  • Appeared in first career NFL game against Minnesota and made his first NFL start at safety against Green Bay
