The Bears on Tuesday waived receiver Tre McBride III.

McBride appeared in eight games with three starts this season, catching eight passes for 144 yards. He started Sunday's contest in Philadelphia, catching two passes for 20 yards.

The Bears claimed McBride off waivers from the Titans Sept. 3. He was selected by Tennessee in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft out of William & Mary. He caught two passes for eight yards and averaged 19.0 yards on 10 kickoff returns in nine games the past two seasons with the Titans.
