I was sad to see Robbie Gould leave the Bears at the start of the season, but I liked how Connor Barth performed after a slow start. How did the two compare statistically? in 2016
Connor Barth made 18 of 23 field-goal attempts (78.3 percent) with a long of 49 yards and 31 of 32 extra-point tries (96.9 percent) in 16 games with the Bears, while Robbie Gould was 10-of-10 on field goals with a long of 47 yards and 20 of 23 on extra points (87.0 percent) in 10 games with the Giants. Two of Gould's missed extra points came in a Week 11 win over the Bears. Gould had a slightly better rate of touchbacks on kickoffs at 44.2 percent (19 of 43) versus 40.6 percent for Barth (26 of 64).
Prior to Jordan Howard, who was the Bears' last fifth-round draft pick to make the Pro Bowl?
The last Bears fifth-round draft pick to be voted to the Pro Bowl was Corey Graham in 2011. Prior to Graham, Jerry Azumah went in 2003 and Johnny Knox was chosen as a rookie in 2009. However, Graham, Azumah and Knox all were voted in on special teams. The last Bears fifth-round pick to make the Pro Bowl on offense was running back Willie Galimore in 1958.
