Highly-touted first-round picks Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze practiced for the first time as pros Friday as the Bears kicked off their rookie minicamp at Halas Hall.

Coach Matt Eberflus spoke with the media Friday ahead of rookie minicamp practice and discussed the friendship between Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze, his excitement to see the 2024 draft class on the field and former cornerback Charles "Peanut" Tillman's message to the rookies.

The Bears kicked off their rookie minicamp Thursday and are slated to conduct non-contact practices Friday and Saturday.
