Bears linebacker Tremaine Edmunds traveled to London for the girls flag football kickoff event. Read about his third day across the pond which included a tour of the city and a trip to the Tottenham Hotspur's stadium. 

The Bears traveled to London Thursday alongside the New York Jets to kick off the second season of their UK NFL Girls Flag League ahead of International Women's Day.

The Bears and the NFL announced Thursday that the Bears will be a designated team for a regular-season game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London during the 2024 season.

Having been awarded the United Kingdom as an International Home Market Area (IHMA), the Bears and New York Jets have teamed up to create a flag football league in London for girls ages 12-14. The 12-team league—which consists of two six-team conferences—is in the midst of a six-week schedule that will culminate in a championship event May 22.

The Bears recently brought American football to the United Kingdom, conducting 13 free Mini Monsters youth clinics in eight cities from July 11-22.

In conjunction with the NFL, the Bears announced Wednesday that they have been awarded Spain and the United Kingdom as International Home Market Areas (IHMA).
