Biography

Sims has started 22-of-56 career games over four seasons with the Miami Dolphins (2013-16), tallying 74 receptions for 699 yards (9.4 avg) and eight touchdowns. His eight touchdowns were the 2nd most by a Dolphins tight end since 2013.

In 2016, Sims set career highs in both receptions (26) and touchdowns (4). He also added 256 receiving yards and posted 9.8 yards per catch. His four touchdowns were tied for 2nd most for Miami last season.

Sims has appeared in one postseason game with one start, totaling five receptions for 34 yards (6.8 avg).

Sims originally entered the NFL with the Miami Dolphins as a 4th round pick (106th overall) in the 2013 NFL Draft out of Michigan State.
