PRO CAREER: Hauled in 45 receptions for 470 yards (10.4 ypr) and 4 touchdowns in 33 games (5 starts) with the Jaguars (2009-11), while missing the 2012 season in Jacksonville due to a calf injury and the 2014 season in Chicago due to a foot injury… Spent part of 2013 offseason with Tampa Bay before being waived prior to start of regular season… Rushed the ball 3 times for 12 yards (4.0 ypc)… Has added 23 special teams tackles and 3 kickoff returns for 41 yards… Made NFL debut at Houston (9/27/09)… Grabbed first career reception versus Tennessee (10/4/09)… Caught first career TD in 2 touchdown performance at Cleveland (1/3/10)… Made his first career start against Houston (11/14/10).

PREVIOUS SEASONS: 2013 - Spent the offseason with Tampa Bay but was waived by the Buccaneers before the start of the regular season (August 27). 2012 - Placed on Injured Reserve by Jacksonville prior to the start of the regular season (September 2) due to a calf injury… Was waived off of Injured Reserve on October 16 and did not sign with another team that season. 2011 - Caught 4 passes for 42 yards (10.5 ypr) and 1 TD in four games played with Jacksonville… Added 2 special teams tackles… Appeared in Games 2-4 and 6… Inactive Game 1 due to a knee injury and Game 5 due to a shoulder injury… Placed on Injured Reserve due to shoulder injury on October 18, causing him to miss the final 10 games of the season. 2010 - Started 5-of-15 games played with Jacksonville, grabbing 20 receptions for 216 yards (10.8 ypc) and 1 TD… Added 2 carries for 9 yards on offense… On special teams had 12 tackles and 1 kickoff return for 22 yards…  Missed season finale due to a concussion. 2009 - Appeared in 14 games, grabbing 21 receptions for 212 yards (10.1 ypr) and 2 TDs… Added 1 carry for 3 yards… Had 2 kickoff returns for 19 yards and 9 special teams tackles… Missed first two contests of the season due to a knee injury.

COLLEGE: Four-year letterman as a QB at Nebraska-Omaha (2005-08)… Began career at University of Nebraska as walk-on before transferring to Nebraska-Omaha… Served as a team captain for the final three seasons… Played TE for the first time at the 2009 Valero Cactus Bowl in Kingsville, Texas, a Division II all-star game held each January, finishing the contest with 5 receptions for 116 yards and 1 TD in that game… Was 305-of-501 passing for 4,096 yards and 26 TDs … Finished with 3,122 career rushing yards with school-record 50 TDs.

PERSONAL: Attended Bishop Neumann (Neb.) High School… Was three-sport letterman, competing in basketball, baseball and football… He and his wife, Kristen, have a daughter, Izabella, and son Kashton Xavier.
