Jeff King has been elevated to Assistant General Manager after most recently serving as the club's Senior Director of Player Personnel. 2026 will mark King's 12th season with Chicago, joining the Bears as a Scouting Intern in 2015 before joining the staff in a full-time capacity as a Pro Scout in 2016. King was promoted to Director of Pro Scouting in 2020, a role he held and excelled in for two seasons before being promoted to Co-Director of Player Personnel in 2022 and, in 2024, to Senior Director of Player Personnel. A native of Pulaski, Va., King played seven seasons in the NFL at tight end, spending his first five years in Carolina, followed by two seasons with the Cardinals, appearing in 108 career games (84 starts), totaling 156 receptions for 1,323 yards (8.5 avg.) and 12 touchdowns.
