Tanya Dreesen enters her second season with the Chicago Bears in 2025, having been named Senior Vice President of Strategy & Global Affairs and Chief of Staff on March 8, 2024.
In her role, Dreesen plays a pivotal part in shaping the strategic direction and operational execution of major initiatives across the organization. Working closely with President & CEO Kevin Warren, Dreesen oversees a wide range of high-impact projects spanning business strategy, stadium development, premium experience innovation and executive operations, ensuring alignment within club's long-term vision, values and strategic imperatives.
Over the past year, Dreesen has led numerous initiatives that enhanced the Chicago Bears' presence on a local, national and international level. Dreesen oversaw marquee activations at tentpole events, such as the club's participation in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game and HOF Enshrinement Weekend, as well as appearing in the International Series matchup in London. Dreesen worked closely with leadership, community partners and sponsors to drive top-tier engagements and strategic meetings. Internally, she co-authored the club's organizational strategy map and played a central role in operational planning, evaluation processes, and internal improvements.
Prior to joining the Bears, Dreesen spent 16 years with the Minnesota Vikings, most recently serving as Vice President of Partnership Activation, Events & Special Projects. She was part of the leadership team responsible for design and construction of U.S. Bank Stadium, overseeing the integration of all sponsorships and Founding Partnerships. She was instrumental in developing signature initiatives including the U.S. Bank Stadium art collection, the Vikings Voyage fan experience, the Legacy Brick (fan paver) program, and the iconic Legacy Ship sculpture. Dreesen was also responsible for securing and managing 3 major naming rights partnerships: Mall of America Field, U.S. Bank Stadium, and Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center. She directed the team that executed all fan and partner facing events and played a significant role in organizational milestones such as Business Summits, 3 International Series games in London, the successful bid for Super Bowl LII in 2018, and the creation of the team's 200-acre headquarters and practice facility.
Earlier in her career, Dreesen served in a Vice President role at the Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News, where she managed high profile sponsorship activations for local sports teams. She began her career in Toronto, Canada, with The Toronto Sun and later The Toronto Star, leading sponsorship and partnership initiatives for major art, music, multi-cultural and sports entities, including the Toronto Raptors and Toronto Blue Jays.
Dreesen graduated with honors in Advertising and Marketing from Sheridan College in Toronto, Canada. Dreesen is also a three-time medalist in rowing at the Edmonton World Masters Games and has competed internationally at World Rowing (FISA) events in Boston and Montreal.
Dreesen and her husband, Brian, have been married for 23 years and have two children – daughter, Libby, and son, Roman.
