Biography
PRO CAREER:
- Signed as an undrafted free agent with the Bears in May 2022 out of the University of Wisconsin
- Played in 31 games with 16 starts, totaling 118 tackles (88 solo), 3.0 sacks, one interception, 12 tackles for loss, four quarterback hits, one fumble recovery and 11 special teams tackles
2023 SEASON (BEARS):
- In 17 games (10 starts), logged 59 tackles (41 solo), seven tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, one quarterback hits, two passes defensed and one interception
- Recorded first career interception in Week 3 against the Chiefs
- Notched season-high eight tackles (seven solo) in Week 8 against the Chargers
- Recorded 100th-career tackle and 10th-career special teams tackle in Week 9
2022 SEASON (Bears):
- Appeared in every game of rookie campaign before going on IR during Week 16
- Made his NFL debut Week 1 vs. San Francisco, taking snaps primarily with the special teams unit
- Suited up against Green Bay in Week 2 and played over 60% of the snaps on special teams
- Played the first defensive snap of his NFL career in Week 3 vs. Houston, while also featuring in over half the snaps on special teams
- Saw game action on special teams in Week 4 at New York
- Was on the field for over half the snaps on special teams against the Vikings in Week 5 ... Had an assist on special teams against the Commanders in Week 6
